Hello friends,
Quick warning!
My next post is going to be a bloody long one, I've just spent over an hour writing it.
I promise it isn't going to disappoint.
Till next time,

NoMakeNoLife - Japanese Beauty Subscription Box
This company have popped up on my Facebook feed many a time, and every time I see it, it gets a little more tempting to dive right in and subscribe.
I've been on the lookout for a decent sub box or two, and considering my absolute love for Japanese and Korean beauty products, I've been scouting out for those in particular. Now I'm not usually keen on Facebook tailoring ads for me based on my browsing history, but honestly this time it did me a favour!
NoMakeNoLife is a $29.99 (roughly £25), free worldwide shipping Japanese beauty subscription box. Boasting 5-7 full-sized beauty items per box, I'd say the price is actually very decent.
NMNL is run by "...a small group of globally minded tokyoites in our 20s and 30s with vested interest in the latest trends and anything beauty related." They have "extensive experience in the beauty industry" and are located right in the heart of Tokyo. I'm already hooked!
The website is beautifully put together, and has such a fun, youthful charm, all the while staying professional and informative. My favourite section is the photographs of "the crew". It's my kinda company!
Right now, as they're a new sub service, they're offering a whopping 30% off your first box with a code they display plainly at the head of the site. The code is only valid until 31/01/17, but that still gives you plenty of time to sign up - I know I will!
Also, quick note! Their contact email address is weloveyou@nomakenolife.com - how cute is that?!
*I have not been paid or endorsed to make this review, all products have been bought with my own money and all opinions are strictly my own.

Hold the phone!
So hi guys, haven't been here in a while! But listen, I'm gonna get straight down to it.
I've been really upping my game when it comes to the consumption of magazines. And I don't mean the trashy gossip mags (though each to their own!), I'm seriously loving Good Housekeeping at the moment. While there's nothing better than curling up on the sofa with a cuppa and a physical copy balanced on your lap, I can never resist when one of their articles pops up on my Facebook feed.
Here comes the fun part.
I came across an interesting post this evening, and it excited me so much that I had to share it. This Good Housekeeping article is mainly about the proper way in which to apply your beauty products, but one quote captured my interest the most:
"And with skin essences soon to enter the beauty arena thanks to Korean rituals, product layering is only set to get even more confusing."

HOLD. THE. FRICKIN. PHONE.
I can only assume that the above statement means that more Korean beauty products will be hitting the shops at some point soon!
Now it's not difficult to get hold of some Korean holy grails in the UK, but the shipping times from my favourite store on eBay are (justifiably) ridiculous.
I can't wait until Etude House, TonyMoly, Skinfood... all the best Korean brands are available in the UK!
Now we do have one UK based website that sells Korean and Japanese beauty products - Lunatu - though they don't always have the greatest selection.
What do you guys think?

Hello Again Friends!
Wow, its been a long time since I was last here!
With my boys growing up and going off to Pre School, I have a bit more time on my hands so I can finally start writing again. So how about a brief recap of what's gone on here since my disappearance.
With my boys growing up and going off to Pre School, I have a bit more time on my hands so I can finally start writing again. So how about a brief recap of what's gone on here since my disappearance.
- My youngest son turned 1 - though now he's closer to 1 & 1/2!
- We moved house! Anyone who knows me personally will know that myself, my husband and our two toddlers were living with his parents and siblings from May 2014. We lived like that for about a year and a bit before finally finding ourselves a permanent home, and we couldn't be more thrilled!
- I've finally decided what to study at university - Fashion! I'll be sharing my portfolio journey with you guys too, so make sure you keep an eye out for that. Subsequently, my husband has started studying for his passion too, so we're both getting our butts into gear.
Other than that, nothing else inrerssting happened so I think I'll leave it here for today.
Take care, and I'll see you all again soon, my little Pudding Pies <3

Summer Haze ~ GeishaWigs Review
Hello my darlings, how are you?
I have been waiting for SO LONG to get a wig from GeishaWigs, and I finally got my mits on one recently!
I've been craving blonde hair for months, but being of the very, very dark haired persuasion, I couldn't justify the damage dying it would do. I've had my eye on GeishaWigs for about 6 weeks, always convincing myself that I didn't need wigs, I could just deal with the hair I have now. Oh ho, not true! A week and a half ago I bit the bullet and ordered Summer Haze - a gorgeous blonde to white gradient, wavy beauty. Here's how it looks on the mannequin (image owned by GeishaWigs).

Comfort 9/10
I
have a pretty large head, which is why this isn't a perfect score. But
that's not anything to do with the wig, just my fat head. This is still
super comfy, totally didn't feel like I was wearing a wig once I got
used to it.
Style 8/10
I
only have one gripe with the style. When I put it on, it looked super
bushy! I've seen other people with the same style wig and theirs either
looked the same, or less of a bush but it looked great on everyone else -
maybe its just my fat head again. The waves in it are to die for, they
really add a feminine edge.
Colour 10/10
The
colour is my absolute favourite thing about this. I wasn't convinced
before I got it, because the white looked a little odd, but when it
arrived and I tried it on I fell in love. Its a super lovely ash blonde
that really compliments my skin tone.
Believability 9/10
Most
of the people that I asked about it, said that it looks really natural
(bonus!). I think the only thing stopping it from a perfect score is the
bushiness.
Customer Service 10/10
Maria
is the only one running this company at the mo, which must be really
tough with the amount of people ordering! From the moment I ordered to
the moment I recieved it was about 7 working days (9 days total), which
is amazing considering she was moving house and her office in that week.
She always keeps people updated via the company Instagram as to when orders have been posted and emails have been replied to. What more could you ask for?
I absolutely adore my wig, and I really can't wait to order more! How do you think it looks on me? Take care darlings!

Super Pinky Brown Lenses ~ HoneyColor Review
Let me start off by saying that these lenses are more suited for people with darker eye colours. I knew that they wouldn't look the same on me as they do on the model (she has brown eyes, I have green), but I was still a little disappointed when I tried these on for the first time.
They make my eyes look muddy, which is completely not what I wanted. They've grown on me a little, but I still prefer my blue lenses to these.

The overall quality is pretty good, not really much else to say! They're durable considering they're almost half water.

I've already said I was a bit disappointed, so its gonna have to be a 3.

Comfort 4/5
They are so comfortable. Like, I don't even feel them in my eyes half the time (that's because of the high water content).

Value For Money 5/5
I got them super duper cheap! They were half price when I bought them, so I didn't spend more than I think, £10.

Shipping 4/5
Shipping was pretty quick considering I didn't pay through the nose. Only thing I will complain about is that the tracking NEVER worked. Like even when they turned up to my house, they were still ~lost~.
You can get these lenses here.

Geo Super Size Nudy Blue Lenses ~ Pinky Paradise Review
This was my first pair of circle lenses (since the crappy ones I had when I was 16, but those don't count), and I'm totally in love with them. They go beautifully over my green eyes, and enlarge them just enough.

Without lenses
Quality 5/5
Beautiful! The colour is so rich, they feel sturdy yet comfortable.
Colour 4/5
They don't look natural, but that was the look I was going for. I'd give them a 5 if the colour was a little lighter.
Comfort 4/5
I do find that sometimes they go in easier than others. But I can wear them all day without getting dry eyes, which is a total bonus.
Value For Money 5/5
These particular lenses go for £13.38/$20.90/€16.93 which is a great price in my opinion. Especially seeing as they're such great quality and are yearly disposable.
Shipping 3/5
I paid £16. Granted I'm inpatient and wanted them fast, but that's more than I paid for the lenses themselves.
You can find the Nudy Blue's here.
